01 Welcome page

To kick off 2024, I’ve chosen to participate in a Design challenge to hone in on my UI / UX skills and hopefully also practice some motion design. I will probably alter the challenge over the 30 days to fit my personal preferences depending on what I want to work on.

The first assignment from this Design challenge on Medium was designing a welcome page.

I came up with the quick idea for an app designed to upgrade and manage your home lighting. With the dark winter season in Berlin, and colored/ambient lighting being a growing trend in interior design, it felt like a fun concept to work on. I incorporated a bit of motion with a moving gradient background.

Overall nice little project for few hours :)
