06 Netflix Scroll

On day 6 of my Design challenge, I decided to try to copy a design from an existing product and work on building a prototype with smart animations again.

I chose Netflix because it was easy to mock up, and followed a few simple tutorials for building a scroll selection animation with some of my favorite films.

It was a fairly simple and nice project, but at this point in my Challenge, I think I will change things up and try to see if I can start figuring out more complex animation which offers a bit more creative freedom.

I’d like to come up with maybe a few solid yet simple motion assets that I can utilize across a digital ad campaign.
